Ingredients
- 2 C. flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 C shortening (Crisco)
- 3/4 C. milk

Step 1
Set oven at 425 degrees.
Mix dry ingredients together very well. Add Crisco and cut into dry ingredients until about the size of peas. Add milk. Stir just until moist. Pat out on floured board until about 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick. Cut out with 2 inch biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12 - 15 min. or slightly brown. Makes 6 large biscuits.
