Long John Silver's Fish Batter I

Mom got this recipe from somewhere a long time ago and passed it on to me. Just multiply the amounts according to how much fish that you have to fry.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
1. Sift dry ingredients.
2. Add water and mix well.
3. Use to coat fish or chicken fillets. Cover the fish completely.
4. Deep fry at 375 degrees until a nice golden brown.
