Jack's Favorite Tomato Florentine Soup ♥

Jack loves this soup - he calls it "restaurant-quality."

Ingredients

  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water or chicken broth
  • 1 15-oz can petite diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 Tablespoon dry onion soup mix
  • 2 cooked Italian Sausages (out of casings)
  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach
  • 1/2 cup half & half or cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup small shell pasta
  • Kraft Parmesan cheese (grated, in green can)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except pasta and cheese - heat until bubbly. Add cream and heat just till warm - do not boil!

Cook pasta separately and set aside. Spoon into soup bowls, adding some pasta to each bowl. Sprinkle cheese on top of each bowl.
