Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
- 8-oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 c. water
- 1-1/2 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T. prepared horseradish
- 1 t. hot pepper sauce
- 1 T. dried, minced onion
- 1 T. chili powder
- 1 t. dried oregano
- 1 t. cayenne pepper
- 1/8 t. nutmeg
- 1/8 t. salt
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. May also be prepared in a slow cooker; cover and cook on low setting for several hours. Serve immediately or keep refrigerated.
Makes about 5 cups.
