Sausage breakfast casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb mild sausage
  • 1 cup torn bread
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp dry mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Saute sausage in skillet.
Layer drained sausage, bread, & cheese in flat casserole dish.
Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper & dry mustard.
Pour over layers.
Refrigerate overnight & bake @ 350* for 45-60 minutes or until firm.

Can add bacon, green peppers, mushrooms etc. to casserole.
