Ingredients
- 1 cup white karo syrup
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups (one can) peanuts
Preparation
Step 1
Cook karo syrup, sugar and water until it reaches the hard ball stage (250-268 degrees).
Add peanuts and butter.
Cook until golden brown (310 degrees).
Add baking soda and mix well.
Pour into buttered cookie sheet.
When cool. break into pieces.
