Bacon Wrapped Smokies with Sugar and Butter

  • 1 Lb Bacon, cut into thirds
  • 1 Lb Little Smokies
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 2 Cups Brown Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cut bacon into thirds and wrap each little smokie.

Place in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Melt the stick of butter and add 1 cup of brown sugar. Mix well and pour over little smokies.

Sprinkle the remaining cup of brown sugar evenly oveer the smokies.

Bake for 15-20 minutes at 375, then turn up the heat and bake an additional 5 minutes until bacon is crispy.
