Ingredients
- 12 c popped popcorn (1/2-2/3c unpopped)
- 1-1/2 c mixed salted nuts
- 1 c packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c butter
- 1/2 c dark colored corn syrup
- 1/2 t sifted baking soda

Step 1
Lightly coat a roasting pan with non stick cooking spray. Remove unpopped kernels from popped popcorn. Combine popcorn and nuts in the prepared roasting pan; keep warm in 300 degree oven.
In a 2qt saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly (about 12 minutes). Cook and stir for 5 minutes more. Remove from heat. Stir in baking soda ( the mixture will foam).
Pour caramel mixture over popcorn mixture; stir gently to coat. Bake in 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Stir popcorn mixture. Bake for 5 more minutes.
Immediately turn out onto a large piece of foil; cool. Break apart. Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
