Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 ½ clove garlic, crushed
- 16 Taco shells
- 1 ½ cup shredded lettuce
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1 ½ chopped tomato
- ¾ cup dairy sour cream
Preparation
Step 1
Cook and stir hamburger in skillet until light brown; drain.
Stir in water, 1 cup onion, the chili powder, salt, cumin, and garlic.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 10 minutes.
