Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cup blueberries

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. In medium mixing bowl, mix together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening and mix well. Add wet ingredients. Coat berries with flour and fold into batter. Spoon into greased or paper-lined muffin pans, filling 1/2 full. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
