Vanilla Cappuccino Nut Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 7 oz Margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Tbsp Coffee Granules
  • 1/2 cup Slivered Almonds

Preparation

Step 1

In a mixer bowl, combine flour, margarine, sugar, baking powder, and vanilla. Blend until the mixture is crumbly.
Add egg and blend for another minute until the dough is uniform.
Add the coffee and blend for another minute.
Mix in nuts by hand.
Form dough into a rectangular log, wrap with plastic, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350.
Cut log thinly and place cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
