Marinated Steak Kabobs

Ingredients

  • 1 12 oz can ginger ale
  • 2 Tbsp fresh cilantro, minced
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp dried oregano
  • 3 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless steak, cubed
  • Various vegetables such as onions, peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, etc.

Preparation

Step 1

Instructions
Mix the first 10 ingredients in a non-reactive glass dish.
Add the steak, tossing to coat.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, but up to 4 hours.
Soak wooden kabob skewers in water the entire time the meat is in the fridge.
Put the kabobs together by sliding meat and vegetables on the soaked skewers.
Grill over medium heat for about 15 minutes or until vegetables are soft and meat is cooked.
