Pulled Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 pound chicken breasts
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 18oz. bottle barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • 6 hamburger buns

Preparation

Step 1

Place chicken in slow cooker. Sprinkle onion and garlic over meat. Whisk together barbecue sauce, vinegar and tabasco; pour on top of meat. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

Remove chicken and let cool slightly and shred. Stir chicken back into the barbecue sauce mixture in the slow cooker.

Arrange chicken on hamburger buns.

Optional: Serve with coleslaw or lettuce.
