Ingredients
- 8 Tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 325 degrees.
Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat; add sugar, stirring well, then let cool.
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Beat the eggs one at a time into the cooled sugar mixture. Beat in the vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture gradually. Stir in the pecans.
Butter a 9-inch square baking pan. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake until the Blondies come away from the edges of the pan - 50 to 60 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
