Ingredients
- 2 (6 1/2 ounce ) cans of minced clams,
- don’t drain juice
- 5-6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 stick of butter melted
- Juice from 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1/2 -1 cup of bread crumb, Italian style
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika, for color (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat over to 350 degrees. In a medium size skillet,
sauté the butter and garlic over a low heat a minute or two,
be careful to not let the garlic burn.
Add the clams with their juice, parsley flakes, oregano,
butter, garlic, lemon juice, breadcrumbs and cheese.
Start with ½ cup of breadcrumbs, the texture should be
like a paste, if not add more breadcrumbs. Put mixture in
an ovenproof pie dish and add paprika to the top.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes,
until slightly golden brown and bubbly.
