Ingredients

  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 2 boneless chicken breat cut into 3/4 pieces
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 3 Tbsp raisins
  • 1 C coarsely chopped apple
  • 1/1 /2 tsp chicken boullion granules
  • 1 1/2 tsp flour
  • 1/3 C water
  • 1/4 C sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 C uncooked white rice

Preparation

Step 1

Combine onion, chicken, curry powder, ginger raisins and 3/4 C chopped apple in slow cooker. Bombine chicken bouillion granules, flour and water in small bowl stir till dissolved. Add to slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 3 1/2 hrs until chicken is cooked. Combine sour cream and cornstarch. Turn off slow cooker remove insert to heatproof surface. Drain all cooking liquid from chicken mixture and stir into sour cream mixture. Add back to insert stir well. Place insert back. Cover and let stand 5 to 10 min till sauce is heated through. Cook rice
Serve chicken over rice and garnish with remaining apple.
