RHUBARB CUSTARD CAKE

Got this recipe from Mom... great way to use rhubarb!!

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix baked mixed according to directions.
  • 4 cups chopped rhubarb
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 pint of whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Make cake mix according to directions.

Chop rhubarb and put on top of batter.

Mix sugar, cinammon and nutmeg and pour over rhubard.

Pour 1 pint of whipping cream over top.

Bake in a 9 x 13 pan at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
