Dessert: Apple Crisp

I don't like oats in my crumbles or crisps and I like the topping to be really crispy. A simple but classic recipe.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups tart apples, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients except apples. Spread the crumbly ingredients over the apples in a pie pan. Bake about 30 minutes.
