Marm’s Rice Pilaf

I've never met a kid who didn't like this rice pilaf... It's a family favorite. It was introduced to our family by an old family friend

Ingredients
- 1/2 c spaghetti (broken in pieces)
- 2-4 T butter (use 2 min)
- 1 c rice
- 2 c water
- 1 T powdered chicken stock (Knorr brand preferred)
- 1 can mushrooms with liquid (stems & pieces)
Preparation
Step 1
Saute spaghetti pieces in butter until barely brown. Add rice and stir till coated. Add remaining ingredients, cover pan with lid and bring to a boil. Once fully boiling, turn down to low simmer and set timer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and stir together and serve.
