Caramel Icing ~ Candy

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar ~
  • 2 cups sugar
  • #/4 cup half n half
  • 1 stick butter

Preparation

Step 1

Brown 1/2 cup sugar in iron skillet.

Bring 2 cups sugar & 3/4 cup half-n-half to a boil.
Pour melted (browned) 1/2 cup sugar into boiled mixture. Cook until soft boil stage. Add butter and beat, then add nuts, if desired.
