- 2 1/2 c flour
- 2 1/2 c sugar
- 2 1/2 c milk

DAY 1: Mush bag.
DAY 2: Mush bag.
DAY 3: Mush bag.
DAY 4: Mush bag.
DAY 5: Mush bag.
DAY 6: Add the following: 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup milk. Seal and mush bag.
DAY 7: Mush bag.
DAY 8: Mush bag.
DAY 9: Mush bag.
DAY 10: Add the following: 1 1/2 cup flour, 1 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 1/2 cup milk.
DOT NOT USE A METAL SPOON OR BOWL AND DO NOT REFRIGERATE THE MIX. If air gets in the bag, let it out; it's normal for the batter to rise, bubble and ferment.
Stir with a wooden spoon. Poor (4) 1 cup starters into 1-gallon resealable, plastic bags and seal. Keep one bag for yourself. Give away the other three to friends, with a copy of these instructions. This should not be passed on to a friend on the first day; be sure to tell the friend what day it is on when you pass it on to them.
