Pecan pie Bars

  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • Topping
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp margarine
  • 2 cups coarsely copped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium bowl combine flour and sugar. Cut in margarine until coarse crumbs are formed. Press into a 9" square pan. Bake at 350°F for 15 min. Let cool 10 min. In a medium bowl whisk together eggs, sugar, corn syrup and margarine. Stir in pecans. Pour evenly over base and bake 30-35 min or until set and top is golden brown. Cool completely and cut into squares.
