Carmel Corn

Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1-11/4 cup unpopped corn

Preparation

Step 1

Mix brown sugar, margarine and corn syrup together and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add cream of tartar, salt and soda. Stir until fluffy. Pour over popped popcorn and mix well.

Grease 2 jelly roll pans and pour mix onto the pans.

Bake 1 hour at 200, stirring every 15 minutes while baking.
