CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES - Connie's recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine, in separate bowl, flour, baking soda and salt. ADD SLOWLY to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at
375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until light brown.
