Jane's Biscuits - Cat Head Biscuits

Ingredients

• 1 Quart flour (4 c.0
• 1 t. soda
• 1 t. salt
• 3 level t. baking powder
• 2 T. shortening
• 1 c. sour buttermilk

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together the dry ingredients; work in shortening...Make a well in flour & add buttermilk to make a soft dough. Knead lightly on floured board. Squeeze out into big biscuits or cut with a pastry cutter.

Bake at 475....until done.
