BEEF POT ROAST

Ingredients

  • 3-4 pound bottom round beef roast
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups finely chopped onions
  • 2 cups finely chopped garlic
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 potatoes - cut in half
  • 4 large carrots - whole
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef in vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.

Remove beef and the brown onions and garlic.

Add 1 can beef broth and 1 cup water.

Insert beef and cook for 1 1/2 hours.

Add 4 large potatoes and 4 large carrots.

Cook an additional hour.
