  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 onion slices
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 4 green pepper slices
  • 1 can beef broth -- 10 3/4 oz.
  • 1/2 soup can water
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Brown Pork Chops in 2 tablespoons fat. Place uncooked rice in large roaster pan. Place pork chops on top of rice. Top each chop with slice of onion, tomato, and green pepper. Pour soup and water mixture over all. Sprinkl on marjoram, thyme, salt and pepper. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes.
