Ingredients
- 1-1 1/2 lbs. cube steak
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom or Golden Mushroom soup
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 jar (6 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
Preparation
Step 1
Coat beef with flour; salt and pepper. Brown in oil. Remove; place in baking dish. Add soup and 1/2 soup can of water to drippings in skillet to make gravy. Stir until well mixed and gravy thickens. Add mushrooms. Pour over steaks, cover and cook 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve gravy with rice or mashed potatoes.
