Ingredients
- 6 egg whites
- 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
- one 16 oz. Cool Whip
- 1 - 2 cans cherry pie filling
Preparation
Step 1
Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.
Slowly add sugar and vanilla.
Fold in crackers and nuts.
Butter 13 x 9" glass pan.
Bake nut and cracker mixture at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
Cool completely.
Top with pie filling and Cool Whip.
