*CHICKEN WITH FIREWORKS SAUCE

Preparation

Step 1

Place 3 tbsp veg oil in pan and cook 2 chopped cloves garlic, then stir in 1/4 c smoked sweet paprika and cook one minute. Then add 1 c water and 2/3 c ketchup and add juice of 2 lemons (1/4 c), 2 tbsp (thawed) frozen orange juice concentrate, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp Dijon mustard, 2 inches cayenne pepper. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer 8-10 minutes until slightly thickened. Reserve half as sauce. Take other half and continue to baste chicken until done. WE TRIED THIS 7/12 AND EVERYONE LOVED IT, ESPECIALLY BOYS.
