Ingredients

  • 3 Tblsp butter
  • 1/4 cup bulk pork sausage
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cewlery
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken or turkey broth
  • 1-1 1/2 poultry seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp celery salt
  • 10 slices white bread, cut into 1/2" cubes

Step 1

Melt 1 Tblsp butter in large skillet over med heat. Add sausage and cook until browned and crumbled. Add onion, celery, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in broth, poultry seasoning and celery salt. Remove from heat. Place bread cubes in large bowl. Pour sausage mixture over bread and mix well. Let stand 10-15 minutes. Shape mixture into 8 patties about 3 1/2" in diameter. Melt remaining butter in skillet over med heat and cook until brown on both sides.
