Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • ICING:
  • Any sweet bread dough
  • Butter
  • Chopped pecans
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

After the dough has risen, punch down and divide into quarter. Roll dough out on a floured surface into a rectangle. Smear a thin coat of soft margarine on top, sprinkle with brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon and roll up into a log. Cut into 1" thick rolls, put on a greased cookie sheet and let rise. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Just before putting rolls in oven, toss two ice cubes onto the bottom of the oven to moisten air. Bake rolls until they start to turn brown 15 to 20 minutes. Allow to cool and ice.

ICING: Mix all ingredients well. Spread on cool Cinnamon Rolls.
