Ingredients

  • Oil for frying
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Flour

Step 1

Heat oil (2 to 3 inches) in saucepan to 400 F. Beat egg, sugar and salt. Beat in oil, milk and flour. Heat rosette iron for 1 minute. Dip iron into batter and fry until golden brown, about 30 seconds. Invert on paper towel to cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar,
