    filets monkfish (35 oz/1 kg total), cleaned

    tsp (5 ml) + 1 tbsp (15 ml) tandoori powder

  • 1

    cup (200 ml) full-fat yogurt

  • ¼

    cup (50 ml) vegtable oil


Rub the monkfish filets with the 1 tsp (5 ml) of tandoori powder and set aside. In a bowl, combine the 1 tbsp (15 ml) of tandoori powder, yogurt, and oil, and mix thoroughly. Place the fish in the mixture and marinate for 1-2 hours. Preheat the oven tp 450 F (230 C). Place a sheet of parchment paper on a sheet tray and place the fish on top of the paper. Place the tray in the oven and roast for 15 min. Turn the filets and roast for another 5 min. Fish should be firm and a little charred.
