Grape Salad

  • 4 lb seedless grapes
  • 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) container sour cream
  • 1/2 c white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz chopped pecans
  • 2 T brown sugar
  • 1 few chopped pie apples, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Wash and dry grapes. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, white sugar and vanilla. Add grapes and mix until evenly incorporated. (May also add chopped apples.) Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans (may put under broiler for 30 to 60 seconds to melt the brown sugar). Refrigerate until serving (best to chill overnight). Serves 8.
