Frozen Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c white vinegar
  • 1/4 c water
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 2 c sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cabbage, carrot, green pepper and salt; let stand 1 hour and then squeeze out liquid. Mix vinegar, wter, seeds and sugar together and goil vinegar mixture 1 minute. Cool and pour over vegetables. Freeze in containers.
