Honey Mustard Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic; minced, peeled
  • 2 Tbs fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Preparation

Step 1

In blender or food processor combine honey, mustard, garlic, lemon juice and vinegar. Process until well mixed, about 1 minute. With motor running, add canola oil and sesame oil in slow steady stream, processing until dressing is smooth, with a creamy texture. Store, covered, in refrigerator. The flavor will improve if made several hours before using.

NOTE: If dressing becomes too thick, whisk in a couple of tablespoons of water.
