Ingredients
- FROSTING:
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 3 Tbsps powdered sugar
- 1 tsp rum extract
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare cake batter according to package directions, adding nutmeg and ginger to dry ingredients. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
For frosting, in a small mixing bowl, beat cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in extract. Spread over cake. Store in the refrigerator
