Ingredients
- 4 dozen (approx) Jars of
- pickles
- 50 lb cukes
- 1 1/2 ga cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 bags pickling salt
- 8 heads garlic
- 2-3 bn dill
- Brine for 8 jars
Preparation
Step 1
cups vinegar 3/4 cups pickling salt 7 cups water Heat in pan but do not boil. Heat until salt dissolves.
Heat jars (upside down), rings and lids, in boiling water.
To fill (per jar): 1-2 sprigs dill 1-2 (or more) cloves garlic cukes brine to fill
Work quickly to get the best seal. They may seal and unseal several times before they finally seal completely.
