    pounds lean beef stew meat, cut into 3/4 inch -- cubes

    tablespoons flour

    can condensed onion soup

    can (16 oz. tomatoes, crushed

    large carrots, cut into 1 inch slices

    cup chopped celery

    small new potatoes cooked and peeled

Directions

Coat meat with flour; mix with soup and tomatoes. Turn mixture into 3 quart shallow casserole. Bake covered at 300 degrees for 2 hours, stirring twice during cooking time. Add carrots and celery; cook, covered 2 hours longer. Add potatoes about 30 minutes before serving.
