- 2 pounds lean beef stew meat, cut into 3/4 inch -- cubes
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 can condensed onion soup
- 1 can (16 oz. tomatoes, crushed
- 2 large carrots, cut into 1 inch slices
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 12 small new potatoes cooked and peeled

Step 1
Coat meat with flour; mix with soup and tomatoes. Turn mixture into 3 quart shallow casserole. Bake covered at 300 degrees for 2 hours, stirring twice during cooking time. Add carrots and celery; cook, covered 2 hours longer. Add potatoes about 30 minutes before serving.
