Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 3 cups sugar
• 3 cups brown sugar
• 2 cups shortening
• 2 cups butter
• 8 eggs
• 6 tsp vanilla
• 3 tsp baking soda
• 2 tsp cream of tarter
• 8-9 cups of flour
• 2-3 bags of toll house chocolate chips
• 2-3 cups nuts of choice (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together sugars, shortening and butter.
Add eggs to mixture.
Add vanilla.
Mix together baking soda, cream of tarter and flour and mix into creamed mixture.
Use teaspoon to put on cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 min or until light brown.
