Ingredients
- 1/2 pound of Italian Sausage in links or ground Italian sausage
- 2 large green peppers cut in slivers
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 3 cups meatless spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz. (3 and 1/2 to 4 cups) Twist macaroni
Preparation
Step 1
Skin sausage if using links and crumble with green peppers in hot oil until sausage is lightly browned. Pour off excess oil. Add spaghetti sauce; cover and simmer for 15 minutes (add a little water if a thinner sauce is desired).
Meanwhile cook macaroni as directed on package. Drain. Toss sauce with macaroni in pan.
