Baked Portobello Mushroom Fries

These Portobello Fries are baked to a golden crisp, but are so tender and delicious. They're a must try appetizer!

Ingredients
- 4 large portobello mushroom tops, gills removed, sliced 1/4" thick
- 3 eggs lightly beaten
- 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a 9x13" baking pan.
In a small bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, cheese and garlic salt.
Dredge each mushroom slice in the beaten eggs, and then in the bread crumb mixture. Place each slice in the baking pan.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until they start to turn golden brown.
