Ingredients
- 8 ounces whole wheat Spaghetti pasta
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 dash low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 medium red bell pepper, julienne
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro leaves, finely chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil; add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain and rinse under cold water to cool. Place pasta in a large bowl; toss with sesame oil, soy sauce and cayenne pepper. Add bell pepper and cilantro; toss again until well mixed. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve chilled.
SERVING SUGGESTION: A big spinach salad tossed with Easy Balsamic Vinaigrette (see recipe).
