Ruby Quick's Pickled Vegetable

Ingredients

  • 2 heads cauliflower
  • 2 bunch celery
  • green peppers
  • carrots
  • onions
  • 2 pints vinegar
  • 2 pints water
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cut up vegetables. Soak in ice water one hour. Put into boiling water 2 minutes.

Boil remaining ingredients. Pour over drained vegetables. Cool. Keep in fridge.
