Ingredients
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 TBSP salt
- 2 TBSP shortening
- 2 packages dry yeast
- 1/4 cup lukewarm water
- 1 TBSP sugar
- 2 eggs
- 7 cups flour
Preparation
Step 1
Add yeast to lukewarm water and sugar, let rise.
Boil water, add sugar and salt. Let cool. Add yeast water and beaten eggs. Add half of the flour, mix with a wooden spoon. Add remaining flour, mix well. Refrigerate overnight.
Roll out into rectangle and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.Roll up and slice. Place on pan and let rise.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 mins.
Drizzle vanilla icing over rolls.
