Ingredients
- 2 cups granular sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp flavored oil (no extract)
- 1 drop food coloring of choice
- 1/8 cup powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
In a heavy 2 quart saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cook over medium heat without stirring until hard crack stage (300 degrees F) Remove from hea and stir in flavoring oil and color. Pour into well buttered jelly roll pan. cool until can be handled and cut into desired shapes or cool completely and break into peices. Dust with powdered sugar and store in air tight containers.
