Star of Bethlehem Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup granular sugar
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 4 TBS milk
• 2 tsps vanilla
• 1 pound chocolate stars

Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugar, peanut butter, eggs shortening, vanilla and milk. Add four, baking soda and salt, mix well.
Drop by spoonfulls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 7 mins. Pull out of oven and immediately press a star into each cookie. Cool on cooling rack until stars have set.
