Ingredients
- 3/4 c milk or water
- 2 large eggs
- 4 TBS melted buter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 4 tsps active dry yeast
- Oil for frying
- GLAZE
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Place ingredients into bread machine according to manufacturer and set on dough cycle. When cycle has completed, remove from machine, punch down and let rest for 10 minutes. On lightly floured surface roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness, cut with floured cutter. Place on lightly greased pan and let raise for abou 1 hour or until very light.
Fry in oil preheated to 375 degrees F or 190 degrees C. Glaze, dip or dust as desired.
For glaze heat milk and vanilla just until very warm. Lower heat to warm. Whisk in powdered sugar until well mixed. Keep glaze warm until ready to use.
