CHERRY COBBLER

Ingredients

  • 1 can (21 ounce) cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
  • 3 Tbsps butter
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 Tbsp and 2 tsps sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsps milk

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cherry pie filling with extract. Pour into a 1 ½ quart casserole. Cut butter into next 5 ingredients.

Add egg and milk all at once. Mix until just blended. Spoon over cherry pie filling.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm. Great with vanilla ice cream.
